Gloria Wong is a psychologist with PhD training in psychiatry. She is an Associate Professor at the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences, University of Reading, and Honorary Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, The University of Hong Kong. Her research covers dementia, psychosis, and preventive mental health in older adults and young people. She is co-leading an integrated prevention programme for late-life depression JC JoyAge (https://research.jcjoyage.hk/), testing its real-world implementation at scale (involving >10,000 participants), focusing on model development for co-care between health and social care services. She is also co-leading collaborative research on virtual Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and ICT-enriched carer support. Dr Wong publishes extensively, including two books, six book chapters, and over 140 journal articles, including the recent title Casebook of Dementia: A Reference Guide for Primary Care, which is freely available from CambridgeCore.
